Description
A 2-metre video cable designed to bridge the connectivity gap between older audio-visual equipment. The cable features a male S-Video (or 4-pin Mini-DIN) connector on one end and a single male RCA plug on the other, converting the higher-quality S-Video signal to a standard Composite Video signal. S-Video separates the brightness and colour components of the video signal. Offering a sharper and clearer image than a traditional composite connection. The converter allows you to display video from S-Video-equipped devices, such as certain laptops, video capture cards, or older gaming consoles, onto a display with a single RCA input. Crucially, S-Video only transmits the video signal, so a separate audio cable (like a stereo 3.5mm jack to 2x RCA) is necessary to carry the sound.
